This review is for the Seasons Restaurant and Tap Room at Avon Hotel, in Avon, Connecticut. Many outstanding experiences there during December 2024. Special thanks to Eli, the manager there who made our experiences exceptional as well as the talented wait staff, and cordial bar tenders. We enjoyed the top notch cuisine, tap room events such as music and trivia along with the exquisitely decorated dining room during the holiday season.
The day bartender Lindz is very personable and great with the recommendations if you aren’t sure what to order . I love the new menu. Great libation selections. I keep coming back for the great service and menu. I would recommend this bar to anyone looking for a local spot.
Great spot within the hotel that offers not just a comfortable dining experience - but a whole vibe. If you're staying at the hotel, sure you could go off campus, but I'd encourage you to stay and enjoy everything The Seasons offers. Ask for Jeff, he'll give you a run down on the menu, offer his recommendations and even prepare an amazing cocktail that will pair well with dinner. An amazing experience!
The best Sunday brunch ever! Food, atmosphere, staff were all top notch! Went there for my daughter's birthday. There was a gentleman playing the piano and he got everyone to sing Happy Birthday!
Delicious brunch with a lot of variety, nice omelets, carving stations, fruit, cheese, bread, coffee, and mimosas. Definitely, I love it. Everything was yummy!!!
I booked a private room (Tap Room) for a small birthday party. The day of the party there was a snow storm. The staff was more than understanding that the number in the party went from 21 to 14 due to the storm. They helped us rearrange the tables to accomodate the smaller group. The room was stunning. The fireplace was lit, tables, set, mimosas poured and ready for us when we arrived. It is a lovely atmosphere, the staff were incredible, as was the buffet. Highly recommend!
Great little place inside the Avon Old Farms Hotel. Friendly servers, great food, cozy. Burger was a good size, prepared exactly as ordered, fresh and plentiful toppings, bun wasn't overpowering. Fries were tasty (wasn't supposed to eat 'em, did so anyway.) Would definitely eat here again!
We have been here a few times already for their holiday buffets. The food is scrumptious. Its hot, fresh and flavorful. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. It's decor is lovely and it's very clean and neat. I will be trying the regular Sunday Brunch buffet as soon as it fits in my schedule and I can't wait. If you're going to try a holiday buffet, get reservations early because they are very popular. Please tey them you won't be disappointed.
